Manasi Ghosh, a 24-year-old from Kolkata, recently won the title of Indian Idol season 15 winner. Along with winning the trophy, Manasi also got cash prize worth INR 25 lakhs, and a car.
Soon after winning the Indian Idol season 15 grand finale, Manasi shared her journey and plans. She disclosed that she had even recorded her first Bollywood song. The Indian Idol winner gave credit to her mother for encouraging her to pursue music. Manasi further revealed her plans to use the prize money; out of the total money, she plans to use a partial amount to enhance her music skills.

Indian Idol 15 is one of the most popular shows in India which was judged by Shreya Ghoshal, Vishal Dadlani, and Badshah. While the special guests of the show were Shilpa Shetty and Raveena Tandon, and Mika Singh.
Manasi’s Family Heart Warming Moment
For Manasi’s parents, cheering their daughter as the Indian Idol winner 2025 was a proud moment for all of us. Manasi’s parents joined her on stage to be a part of her big day, sharing some of her childhood memories. Talking about her quirky personality and the bond she shared with her family, her parents got emotional.
Throughout the season, Manasi Ghosh’s performances stood out. Whether she was delivering soulful songs or upbeat numbers, she was able to share an emotional connection with her audience. While talking about the judge’s feedback, Manasi revealed that Shreya mam was also very nice and shared her suggestions, which she liked the most. While she stated that Vishal sir was straightforward, but when he was impressed, he doesn’t forget to give a standing ovation to boost the morale of the performers.
Not letting negative feedback affect her next performance, she remained mature with growth-oriented attitude.
Manasi continued to state that even if she gets bad comments, she doesn’t carry them forward in her next performance.
Top Three Finalists
The Indian Idol season 15 grand finale looks more like a battle field where three outstanding finalists including Manasi Ghosh, Subhajit Chakraborty, and Sneha Shankar were surprising the audience with their outstanding performances. Though all of them showed amazing performances, but it was Manasi who stole the show. She emerged as the winner of Indian idol 2025, capturing the hearts of many.
Sneha Shankar was the second in the race and won INR 5 lakhs in prize money. Sneha also caught her fans’ attention before the finale, when T-Series MD Bhushan Kumar offered a recording contract.

Indian Idol Season 15, which premiered in October 2024, became a top-rated show for performers to showcase their skills. In the last five months’ time, the show has provided a platform for young talented singers to showcase their skills. All of the contestants showed the best of their skills.
