Apple revealed the release date for iOS 18 during the iPhone 16 launch event earlier this month. The company announced that the public rollout of iOS 18 will take place on September 16, exactly one week after the iPhone 16 series launch. Based on Apple’s typical iOS rollout patterns, iPhone users in India can expect to download iOS 18 starting from 10:30 PM IST on September 16. iOS 18, first introduced at WWDC 2024, has been available for developers and beta testers since June and includes a variety of new features and improvements. Although the initial release won’t include Apple Intelligence, this much-anticipated feature will come with future updates. The new iPhone 16 series will be equipped with the AI-powered iOS 18 upon release.
iOS 18 India Release Time: Supported iPhone Models
The iOS 18 update will be available to download in India from 10:30 PM IST on September 16 for the following iPhone models: iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, and iPhone SE (second generation or later).

Apple Intelligence in iOS 18 Expected to Boost iPhone 16 Sales
